Quarterly Update: Securing a new array of Web3 applications
Innovative new projects and releases, made safe by Sec3!
Welcome back to Full Stack!
In this update, we’ll be exploring some of the exciting new Web3 projects we’ve been working with over the past quarter.
Smart-contract auditing is a niche in the cybersecurity industry which can be viewed as an indicator for the general health of the Web3 space. With that in mind, we’re pleased to say that The innovation in Web3 continues unabated, regardless of prevailing market conditions.
Sec3 has welcomed many new clients this quarter. Thanks to our broad range of practical and academic cybersecurity expertise, these have included a diverse range of applications - from exchanges to DeFi, and gaming to real-world asset tokenization.
We’re proud to say that more than half of our clients return to us when they have new products to ship. Our existing clients Marinade, Hubble, and UXD have all been developing new code, and we’re more than happy to continue securing their journey!
And now, on to some of the new projects we’re delighted to have worked with over the past three months…
Infrastructure and DeFi
Cube: One of the most exciting projects we’ve worked with this year, the Cube exchange aims to allow users to maintain custody of their funds as they would with a DEX while granting them the quality of trade execution they would achieve with a CEX. Cube makes this possible by leveraging Multi-Party Computation (MPC), and Sec3’s cryptography experts were more than happy to work with Cube to keep security razor sharp. Look out for an in-depth blog post on the audit in the near future!
Caviar Nine: New coding language? No problem! Caviar Nine is a sophisticated DeFi ecosystem on the newly launched Radix network, which uses the Scrypto programming language, a derivative of Rust. Thanks to the team’s extensive knowledge of Rust, they could learn the new language swiftly and put their skills to work auditing Caviar’s order book.
Bonk: The ‘Dog Coin of the People’ has been very busy over the past few months, with integrations now over 130. They have recently released BONKBot & SVB, with even more ways to interact with their community!
Blueberry: Lending protocols are relatively rare in the DeFi space, and most offer only overcollateralized lending for users. Blueberry, an Ethereum project, aims to change this by allowing users to borrow more capital than they have. Blueberry allows users to lend single-sided assets for passive yields and incorporate various DeFi strategies.
Real-World Asset tokenization
Myna Swap: The world of luxury goods and NFTs have collided several times in recent years, with luxury brands using NFTs for authentication purposes. Myna Swap takes this a step further, aiming to empower users to trade NFTs that are backed by luxury goods, and redeem them for the physical asset when they wish.
Gaming
Fidelion: Aiming to bring Web2 users to Web3 with compelling gaming IP that has broad appeal, Fidelion is leveraging NFT technology to build a lasting gaming community.
PixelBattle: A Play-to-Earn game bringing NFT technology to the world of battle royales, Pixel Battle allows players to access the world of NFTs while still being Free to Play (F2P)
HolaSui: HolaSui aims to make building and managing communities on Sui even easier, with tools for NFT Staking, On-chain Quest Systems, P2P Item Swapping, and DAO voting - providing a one stop shop for growing within the Sui Ecosystem.
That’s a wrap for 3Q 2023 folks - we’ll see you in the next quarter!
